Key Elements of a PRESSFIT FIXTURE
- Press fit support fixtures are machined from a solid Material of aluminum which maximizes longevity, precision and durability while minimizing hand assembly.
- Press Fit fixtures prevent Damage to the PCB while still allowing enough pressure to seat pressfit components , like lead or insufficient support underneath the pcb bottom side.
- Press Fit fixtures eliminate damage to the solder side SMT components and avoids solder joints caused by deflection or an operator's careless scraping of an assembly against the press table.
- Press Fit fixtures, hold downs the pcb from top and diagonal dowels are provided to aling the pcb for proper orientation.
